Aim of the webinar: The aim of the course is to equip solicitors, barristers and caseworkers with an introductory/intermediate level of knowledge on the law, practice and policy relating to deportation and removal, sufficient to give initial advice to clients faced with deportation.
By the end of the training, delegates will have a thorough understanding of the law and practice surrounding a decision by the Secretary of State to deport, from prior to the decision up to the submission of a Notice of Appeal to the First-tier Tribunal, through the journey of a fictitious client.
Objectives: At the end of the workshop delegates will have gained an improved understanding, added confidence and will be equipped with the tools to represent clients faced with deportation.
