We were founded as a Council supporting migrants’ rights organisations and campaigns, and have a proud history of serving and supporting the migrants’ rights sector.
We provide a training programme covering a wide range of topics on immigration and asylum law.
We are really pleased to be able to offer subsidised places on our courses to grassroots, community-focussed organisations who are doing incredible work on very limited budgets. By “limited budgets”, we generally mean organisations with an annual income under £50,000.
We particularly invite applications from those working on similar issues to JCWI, focussing on:
groups supporting people with precarious immigration status, or people who are undocumented
groups working on issues around migrants’ rights to work / at work
groups running anti-racism campaigns.
