As Mercy Corps’ Director of Partnerships and Influence, Alexandra leads on building a network of strategic partners with key global actors and influencers, including engagement with the Canadian Government and various foundations and private sector actors in the Gulf. Previously, she worked at the World Economic Forum, based in Geneva, as the Community Lead for Civil Society, helping to ensure a social justice agenda became mainstreamed throughout the Forum’s work.
Prior to that, based in Ottawa, she worked as Director of Communications for Amnesty International Canada, CARE Canada, and Oxfam Canada and began her career as the Communications Coordinator for the Canadian Red Cross. Alexandra’s expertise lies in strategic communications and diplomatic engagement with multi-stakeholders working towards a more just world for all.  Alexandra hopes to bring her expertise and skills to advance and support efforts to successfully achieve JCWI’s mission.
