This course is suitable for those sitting the OISC competence assessment at Level 3.
It will provide delegates with a higher level of understanding of immigration and asylum law and practice, as required at OISC Level 3.
Course content
As OISC Level 3 is distinguished by competence to conduct Tribunal appeals, the course will address the rights, procedures, scope and conduct of appeals in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. It will also include reference to:
UK immigration law, in particular the application of Article 8 ECHR and the EU Settlement Scheme;
British nationality law;
Detention and bail;
Enforcement of immigration control.
