Undocumented people living in the UK are frequently discussed in the media and in public debate. But too often, this debate is based not on an understanding of the facts, but on assumptions and stereotypes. JCWI’s new campaign, We Are Here, looks to change that conversation.
Our ground-breaking new research explores the reality of life for undocumented migrants in the UK today. Based on in-depth interviews with undocumented people, the research explores how people become undocumented, and proposes simple, workable reforms that could break the cycle of insecure immigration status.
