Rosa’s story

We’re speaking on the phone – Rosa, her husband Dilip, and baby Grace in their home in London, where they’re shielding.
They have some security now, after a year from hell. Last spring, as Rosa and Dilip were getting ready to welcome their baby to the world, Dilip fell sick, and was diagnosed with leukaemia, a type of blood cancer.
As the pandemic hit, Dilip was going through treatment. Asides from hospital appointments, he shielded at home, along with Rosa who was now heavily pregnant. A friend set up a crowdfund…
