The fight for migrants’ rights is at a crossroads. In Westminster, many of our politicians seem committed to making the UK an ever more hostile place for migrants, whatever the cost. And yet, local communities and decision-makers in all corners of the UK are increasingly standing up and resisting. Communities are sending a clear message of welcome to people making the UK their home.
It’s clear that local communities and local decision-makers across the UK have the power and the will to stand in solidarity with migrants, and fight for a better world for all of us. That’s why JCWI is proud to be supporting the Migrant Champions Network.
