JCWI’s Families Together campaign officer spoke to Nottinghamshire Live, which highlighted the story of a local woman who has had to leave her home in order to be with her husband because she earns below £18,600 a year.

“What Amy and her family are going through is absolutely absurd. The fact that the government is seemingly happy to exile its own citizens and deny grandparents the joy of seeing their grandchildren grow up is surely a sign of how wrong our immigration policy has gone.”
