For 2019/20, the application fee for a spouse visa is £1523 if you’re applying from outside the UK, and £1033 if you’re applying from within the UK.
On top of this, you’ll have to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge, which is £1200 from outside the UK and £1000 from within the UK.
There are other costs you will have to bear in mind, such as the cost of translating a marriage certificate, taking a recognised English test or getting a qualification certified by UK NARIC.
If the applicant is from certain countries, they will also have to take a tuberculosis test, which can cost over £100 depending on where they are from, and whether there is a Home Office-approved testing centre close by.
