Where to plant
There are lots of different places in your area where you might want to plant you tree – for example, the grounds of a local school, faith centre or care home. You could also think about whether a local nature reserve or city farm would welcome a new tree. However, you’ll need permission from the person or organisation who owns the land where you are going to plant your tree. If you’re that person, fantastic! How to plant
Once you’ve decided which type of tree to plant, you’ll need to get your hands on a sapling, and ideally some tubing to protect it from the elements for the first few months of its life.
