They work so hard, day in, day out, long hours under immense pressure &#8211; as we all are under legal aid &#8211; but they go above and beyond for each and every client. I&#8217;m thrilled that we&#8217;ve won.&#8221;\u00a0  And acknowledging the hardships caused for many of our clients by the pandemic, Nicola added: &#8220;We&#8217;ve gone above and beyond&#8230; We&#8217;ve sent formula to clients with young children who were self isolating because they were at high risk, we&#8217;ve paid for clients&#8217; accommodation at the same time as running judicial review challenges and obtaining high court orders for suitable accommodation.&#8221;  A client commented &#8220;I can&#8217;t describe what it feels to be treated as a human being.
