As we recover from the pandemic, stories like Angela\u2019s show us that we need more than a return to normal. We need a New Deal on Migration that treats people with the respect and care we all deserve.<br \/>\n\u201cI love my job.\u201d Angela says, as she recounts how she\u2019s spent the past 20 years working as a carer. \u201cI love looking after people\u201d she says, \u201cit requires a lot of energy, a lot of patience, but you\u2019re always able to laugh with them at the end of the day.\u201d.\u00a0<br \/>\nAngela works as an NHS healthcare assistant on a dementia ward in Scotland, where she lives with her two children, aged 12 and 17.
