Where and how to plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Where to plant<br \/>\nThere are lots of different places in your area where you might want to plant you tree \u2013 for example, the grounds of a local school, faith centre or care home. You could also think about whether a local nature reserve or city farm would welcome a new tree. However, you\u2019ll need permission from the person or organisation who owns the land where you are going to plant your tree. If you\u2019re that person, fantastic! If not, you\u2019ll have to get in touch and ask for permission. The Tree Council has a great guide on planning where to plant a tree, which you can access by clicking here.<br \/>\nHow to plant<br \/>\nOnce you\u2019ve decided which type of tree to plant, you\u2019ll need to get your hands on a sapling, and ideally some tubing to protect it from the elements for the first few months of its life. Consider asking a local garden centre if they are able to donate one.
