She has advocated for the rights of asylum seekers and refugees, students in UK higher education, Palestinians&#8217;\u00a0human rights\u00a0and women from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee communities. She has worked in\u00a0Afghanistan supporting the delivery of the National Solidarity Programme, Afghanistan&#8217;s flagship national priority programme, in Israel and the West Bank\u00a0monitoring and reporting on\u00a0violations of human rights and international\u00a0humanitarian law and\u00a0participated\u00a0in UN\u00a0Human Rights Council sessions in Geneva. She has also published a report for the British and Irish Agencies Afghanistan Group (BAAG)\u00a0to\u00a0raise\u00a0public awareness\u00a0across the EU of development assistance and delivered workshops to young offenders and those at risk of offending on the influence of culture and migration on language.
