We are delighted to be recruiting two Paralegals, to assist our legal team with their active immigration caseloads, undertaking casework support tasks.
Salary: £24,478.33 – £25,328.05 per annum

Responsibilities
Reporting to the deputy legal director, responsibilities will be:

Providing specialist administrative support to the legal department, including:

Assisting with time recording using JCWI’s Case Management System;
Responding to written requests for legal assistance;
Liaising with specialist partners and suppliers including with country experts, independent social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists
Working with the Legal Assistant to prepare files for billing submission to the Legal Aid Billing Consultant;
Liaising with the Legal Aid Agency;
Liaising with prisons, detention centres and with the Home Office.
