We support clients with a range of gender identities to fight for their right to live in the UK, we work in solidarity with LGBTQ+ organisations working with queer and trans migrants. We also work to make JCWI a safe and welcoming place for people with trans identities.<br \/>\nWe know that in the UK, trans people \u2013 especially trans people of colour, and those with precarious immigration status \u2013 face multiple forms of oppression and violence, including from the state and borders. As an organisation working for social justice, we recognise that solidarity with trans people is a vital part of our work. We also recognise that trans people, like people who move, currently face an onslaught of attacks on their rights, and are demonised as part of the so-called culture wars, to distract from the real issues that we all face.
